About zRavage
From a competitive Shooter clan to an active multi-gamemode MTA server. Here is how it started and where we are today.
Started as a Shooter Clan
zRavage didn't start out as a big multi-gamemode server, and we weren't DM or DD players back then. In the beginning, Rom4no, Jamor, and Sn!per founded zRavage as a dedicated Shooter clan.
The focus was simple: grinding Shooter PvP, playing CWs (Clan Wars) against other teams, and building a competitive squad. That competitive clan environment was where the zRavage tag and brotherhood first came alive.
Building and Opening the Server
We spent a lot of time coding, testing, and tweaking our server setup long before making anything public. We wanted our own place to play with custom scripts and solid performance.
In 2022, after months of development, we officially launched the server for the first time. The MTA community showed up, players and rival clans joined in, and our clan project quickly grew into a full public server.
Development & Who's Running It
When it came to coding and building the server, PinnuTV was the lead developer and did the vast majority of the technical work from day one. He wrote the core scripts, developed the custom gamemodes, and handled the server architecture. Rom4no stepped in as assistant developer, helping out across various areas, testing features, and managing the server setup — with PinnuTV carrying the main development load.
Today, the server is maintained and managed together by the two of us: Rom4no and PinnuTV. Currently, PinnuTV is the Owner and Rom4no is the Founder.
Now Live: zRavage 3.0
We are now on zRavage 3.0 — our biggest update yet, rewriting old code, improving gamemodes, and building this custom web forum from the ground up:
- Smoother Gameplay: Refined sync, responsive controls, and steady FPS across Shooter, DD, DM, and side modes.
- Custom Forum & Mobile UI: Custom-built web platform connected to in-game stats, player accounts, and clan management.
- Community Map Uploader: Mappers can submit maps directly through the website and follow test queue statuses in real time.
- Clan Wars & Rankings: Dedicated clan ranking tables, match logs, and competitive tournaments.
